Deciding to see a counsellor can feel daunting, and finding someone you feel comfortable with is so important, as it's the relationship you have with your counsellor which can be some of the most meaningful parts of therapy.
I began my own therapy journey over 20 years ago during a particularly challenging time. It took a few attempts to find the right therapist, but once I did, the changes I experienced were transformative and it was this journey that led me to become a therapist myself.
Whether you’re ready to start therapy or just curious and want to learn more, I welcome enquiries from everyone, so please feel free to get in touch.

Therapy offers the chance to work through difficult times, whether you’re feeling stuck, uncertain, or facing a specific challenge. It can help if life feels overwhelming, if you're feeling anxious or depressed, if you have just experienced a significant life event or milestone, or if you feel like something isn't working but you're unsure where to start.
I believe therapy is most effective when it meets you where you are, helping you get some clarity and see your options. If you're struggling to work your way through a difficult situation or you want to make a change to make life feel better, having the support to get some space, see what choices you have and explore what might be getting in the way of moving forward can be really empowering.
I use an integrative approach, including Internal Family Systems (IFS - see below), to help you reflect on your experiences and make intentional choices for moving forward.
