Deciding to see a counsellor can feel like a big step, and finding someone you truly feel comfortable with makes all the difference. The relationship you build with your counsellor often becomes one of the most meaningful and healing parts of therapy.
My own journey with therapy began over 20 years ago, during a particularly difficult period in my life. It took a little time to find the right therapist, but once I did, the experience was deeply transformative — and is what inspired me to become a therapist myself.
Whether you’re ready to begin therapy or simply curious to find out more, I welcome you to reach out. I’m always happy to answer questions and help you take the next step in a way that feels right for you.

Therapy is a supportive space where you can work through tough times, whether you’re feeling stuck, uncertain, or facing a particular challenge. It’s there for those moments when life feels overwhelming — whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, the aftermath of a significant event, or simply feel like something isn't working but you aren’t sure where to begin to make change.
I believe therapy works best when it meets you exactly where you are. It’s about helping you gain clarity, see your options, and navigate whatever you're going through with more confidence. Whether you’re struggling with a difficult situation or looking to make a positive change, therapy provides the space to explore your choices and discover what might be holding you back. Having that support as you work through things creates a unique space to reflect, process, and find your way forward.
I use an integrative approach, including Internal Family Systems (IFS – see below), to help you reflect on your experiences and intentionally move toward positive change.
